Cancellation policy

NAIL NINJA holds a credit card on file and requires a 24 hour notice of appointment cancellation. Appointments must be cancelled through the website before the 24-hour mark (not by replying to the confirmation email - this is an unmonitored box and we will not see your message. Emailing the shop directly is also discouraged, as we may not see your message in time, despite our best efforts!) Cancellations within 24 hours MUST be completed by calling the front desk of the location of the appointment. If a cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a 100% cancellation fee is charged to the card used to book the appointment. No-shows will be charged 100% and are subject to denial of future appointments.

In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours, we will make every attempt to fill your appointment. If a service of the same cost is scheduled, you will not be charged. If a lesser-costing service is scheduled, you will be charged the difference in price. If we are unable to fill the appointment time, 100% of the service cost will be charged.

Our cancellation fee is iron-clad. It is still in effect when canceling due to sickness, inclement weather and other manner of unforeseen circumstances. We realize that it may be inconvenient to pay for a service that is not received; however, it is our priority to ensure the guaranteed income of our artists. We respect and value our clients and appreciate your kind and generous cooperation to our policies.

General Information

  1. NAIL NINJA is NOT a spa! We are a nails-only salon and we play loud music! We are booked to capacity and we would like our guests to be prepared for a fast and upbeat environment. We frequently play music with curse words or subject matter that may be inappropriate for small children.

  2. NAIL NINJA is an educational salon and we pride ourselves on developing our skills continuously. Your manicure may not always be flawless, but it is our aim to ensure that it is exactly the quality that you paid for. NAIL NINJA does not guarantee that your manicure will not chip, because we have no way of verifying how each client has used/taken care of their manicure or pedicure; however, we will gladly fix your chips! Please contact our concierge to schedule your repair.

  3. NAIL NINJA welcomes clients who are kind, generous, flexible and patient! Our goal will always be to provide every guest with an incredible manicure; however, should you find that your service did not meet your expectations, we expect you to handle communicating your issues calmly and kindly. Quality control is the MOST important thing to us! If you were displeased with any part of your service, we absolutely want to hear about it in a calm and polite fashion.

  4. The cancellation policy is the cancellation policy. Period. When you make an appointment with us, you are actively acknowledging that policy and if you cancel or no-show within 24 hours, you WILL be charged. Please do not put us in the position of negotiating about charging you for missed appointments by asking if we can waive the fee. Multiple notifications are sent before your appointment and every correspondence will include the cancellation fee verbiage - we do our due diligence to inform you ahead of time so that you can cancel in a timely fashion! Our cancellation policy is in place to guarantee the income of our employees and is non-negotiable.

  5. Rudeness will absolutely not be tolerated. Anyone who mistreats our employees will be asked to leave and may be banned from future visits to NAIL NINJA.

  6. Children may be permitted if they are calm and can sit quietly without disturbing other guests. If the child is causing a scene, they/the parent may be asked to leave and the service charge will still apply.

  7. Cell phone use is allowed at the discretion of each artist. If cell phone use is impeding the artist’s work, the guest may be asked to put their phone away. Guests MUST use headphones during phone calls. Speakerphone use is strictly forbidden. Any guest on a speakerphone call will be politely reminded of this policy.

  8. NO WALK-INS in Saint Louis Park. Minneapolis will accept walk-ins as long as we are able. We do not guarantee walk-in availability. Please book your appointments in advance to ensure your spot.

  9. We will perform services on children who are well-behaved and can sit for the entirety of the service. Artificial enhancement services (Apres Gel-X and acrylic) will only be performed on ages 15 and older.

  10. Gift cards are available online (E-Gift Card) or physical gift cards may be purchased by stopping in to either NAIL NINJA location!
